Welcome aboard Kiwi Magic Fishing Charters! We are conveniently located on the south-west coast of Vancouver Island, offering world class fishing for Trophy Salmon, Pacific Halibut, and various species of Cod, as well as Dungeness crab. We offer professional guided fishing in Sooke year-round or in Port Renfrew from June 'til September. Whether you want to fish for Halibut or Salmon, you won't be disappointed.

Getting here is easy -- Sooke is just 45 minute drive (40 km) from Victoria and Port Renfrew is 2 hours (80 km) from Victoria. In both Sooke and Port Renfrew, Kiwi Magic is located just minutes from the fishing grounds, making for less travel and more fishing time. We use top notch fishing gear and electronics and with our many years of fishing knowledge in the area, your chances of hooking a big one are good -- making for a great fishing experience and life-time memories!

If you want to have a good time, catch lots of fish, and check out the spectacular wildlife, including orca whales, humpback whales, grey whales, seals, sea lions, dolphins, and porpoises, then give us a call...Kiwi Magic will be more than happy to welcome you and you pals aboard.

Fishing Seasons

• Available Year-Round ... Prime Time is May - October
• Port Renfrew: June-September - salmon, halibut, & crabs
• Sooke: year-round for salmon and seasonal for halibut

Rates & Policies

• Port Renfrew: June to September
  • Full Day: $800 for 3 people. We leave the dock @ 6:00am, returning 4:00pm, for Halibut and Salmon fishing out on the Swiftsure Bank.
  • "East Point Special": available July and August. $500 for 2-3 people. 6 hours fishing for Trophy Chinooks, Sockeye, Pinks and fall Coho, we drop the lines just 1 minute from the dock! Departure time depends on tides for the day for the best fishing opportunities.
• Sooke: year-round
  • $100/hr, 4hr minimum
• Maximum 4 guests
• GST added
• 50% deposit required at time of booking

Kiwi Magic Fishing Charters offers:

• Aluminum boats from 18.5 to 32 foot, with Suzuki outboards
