Still no fishing reports for Port Renfrew. The crabbing is probably outstanding and there’s likely winter springs around, but not many people chasing them — or if there are, they aren’t talking! Reports coming soon…
On a fishing-related note, we came across some great metal sculptures of salmon and halibut at Ron Stephens’ website www.rusticsculpture.com. The fish are hand-cut from metal, bent and welded, then left to rust naturally under our west coast humidity. The result is some really unique and attractive sculptures.
